We are working on some exciting new offerings here at Sacred Space! These new services are being designed to support even more of your individual reproductive journey. Whether it's preparing to get pregnant, getting pregant, or more extensive care after baby arrives, we are dedicated to supporting your journey into parenthood.
Our plan for The Oasis Birth and Wellness Center is to bring an open model freestanding birth center to the Reno community. An open model means that midwives from various practices, whether a CNM or a CPM, can apply for privileges to use the birth center for their clients' births, without needing to own the whole birth center themselves. The birth center will also support other community offerings like classes and group meetings. Several healthcare providers will keep offices at The Oasis.
This will be a long term process. Funding and opening a birth center, especially in a state which previously has not had any, while regulations and licensure laws shift, will take some time and navigating. We are currently in the process of funding and building, but can't wait to extend this level of care and love to our community.
